Camp CGC
The Community of the Great Commission is located in Placer County, California, near the town of Foresthill. The camp was established by the Christian Church of Northern California-Nevada in 1952. It has three primary areas for lodging.
The Bobbit Building has a kitchen, meeting room and deck and is surrounded by outlying cabins. The cabins have bunk beds and their own bathrooms. There is also a campfire circle, a volleyball court, a basketball hoop, horseshoe pit, a shaded area with picnic tables, a bathhouse, and a platform for programs and crafts.
The Holland Summer Cabins have scattered cabins with bunk beds. The cabins do not have insulation and there is a shared bathhouse. The main gathering areas are a three-sided building called the “cook shack”, by the campfire circle, and picnic tables.
Claar House has 8 bedrooms with 2 to 4 twin beds in each. Most of the rooms have their own bathroom. Claar House has a large deck, meeting space, craft area, and a kitchen. It is ADA accessible.
The Dining Hall serves three meals a day for all of the CCNC-N campers. Special diets can be accomodated.
There is also an ampitheater, pool with pool house, labyrinth, and lots of trails for walking.
